Creative Enterprise Pitch Party
We celebrated our FIRST EVER Creative Enterprise participants with Spokane, beginning with an overview of Creative Enterprise by Ginger. Each participant of CE had the opportunity to give a pitch to a panel of successful members of our community.
Get to know the 14 small -- and insanely talented local creative entrepreneurs -- whose businesses will begin to pop-up around town because of this pilot program.
Thanks to all who came out and supported Window Dressing's Creative Enterprise as they pitched their businesses.
Thanks to panelists Steve Trabun, Mika Maloney, Tyler Lafferty, Juliet Sinisterra, Andrew Worlock and Caleb Ingersoll for the wonderful questions and insight. Thanks to the coaches who've helped these businesses throughout. Thanks to the Guest Speakers who came to class and shared their wisdom. Thanks to Patrick for being a wonderful instructor.
Last but not least, Thank you - Ryann Engel and Kelly O'Neil Baker for helping with all the last minute details...you guys are the best!
Announcing our 2016 Creative Enterprise participants!
Window Dressing has kicked off a brand-new Creative Enterprise program that provides intensive business training, technical assistance and free rent (up to six months) to local creative entrepreneurs who feel they are ready to tackle a brick-and-mortar space. The idea is to allow folks to test their ideas with little risk and help us all broaden our idea of how to meld creativity and commerce.
We believe our local makers, creators, artists, designers, crafters and creative entrepreneurs have the potential to transform Spokane into a more economically diverse, stronger and more vibrant city, and are so proud and excited to be supporting their efforts.
From cider to toys, women’s leather goods to handcrafted furniture, these businesses have a lot of amazingness to offer to our city.
Now, without further adieu, meet this year’s crew:
